The stock instrumentation cluster of the Honda S2000 emits an orange glow as a result of incandescent bulbs and filters. Using the stock incandescent bulbs system, it is impossible to change the color of the instrumentation to a non-orange base color using filters alone.

Qube Engineering has developed a product that allows you to change the color of the instrument cluster without limitation. By exchanging the orange incandescent bulb system with a true white light emitting diode (LED) system, you can now choose any color for your instrumentation*.

Is your preferred color template out of stock? Contact us directly and we'll help you out.

*Requires you to send your S2000 instrument cluster to us. If you wish to get the DIY version instead, contact Qube Engineering directly.

FAQ

+ Are there any additional installation procedures involved for the NSX?

No, it is completely Plug & Play if you order this together with your kit.

+ How does it work?

The incandescent bulb system of the stock S2000 instrument cluster is replaced by a white LED array with a light diffuser. This white light can then be passed through a set of color filters, resulting in a bright, color-rich light visible at any time of day, even top down in direct sunlight with sunglasses on.

+ What colors can I choose from?

For the main gauge cluster, there is no limitation on color choice. The main gauge cluster uses a base white light and gets its color from color filters, which are available in just about every color imaginable.

+ Do the brightness controls still work?

Yes. The brightness controls work the same way that the OEM brightness controls work. There is a separate memory setting for when the headlights are on and for when the headlights are off.

+ What are the drawbacks?

Qube’s LED Gauge Cluster requires slight modification to the plastic housing that the original incandescent bulbs sit in. If you want to switch back to a stock configuration, it is very easy to do so and any modification done to the housing is undetectable when reassembled.

The OEM brightness controller is bypassed in favor of using a regulated brightness controller onboard the LED product. Because of this, the "+" and "-" buttons change the brightness of the gauge cluster even when you are setting the clock. If necessary, simply set your brightness level again once your clock is set.

+ What if something goes wrong?

Although Qube’s LED Gauge Cluster has been rigorously tested and each unit undergoes a burn in test, things are bound to happen. If the LED Gauge Cluster malfunctions for any reason, aside from physical damage, within 6 months of purchase, it will be immediately taken care of at no cost to you. Contact us and it will be either fixed or replaced as soon as humanly possible along with a full reimbursement for your shipping costs.^
